Broken hammers are a very important part of excavators. They are mainly used in demolition, mining, and urban construction. This kind of high-intensity use will inevitably cause damage to them. Therefore, during installation and disassembly, pay attention to the following matters：

First of all, when the broken hammer is in use, it must not be used to pry open the broken object by shaking the drill rod of the broken hammer, so as not to cause damage to the drill rod and the front cylinder components, and it cannot be continuously hit in the same place when used. If it cannot be broken for a long time, the position must be changed.

Then, when the breaker is operating, it should be as perpendicular to the surface of the breaker as possible to avoid large angles, so as not to cause strain on the cylinder block and damage to the drill rod and piston.If the broken object is harder and larger, it can be broken in stages and incrementally, which can also improve work efficiency.

There is also the inability to use a broken hammer to clean and dig materials when in use, which will cause the drill rod to break, the shell and the cylinder block to wear abnormally and shorten the service life.During operation, be sure to compactor the drill rod, otherwise it will produce air strikes and cause damage to internal parts.

Then there is another point to avoid underwater operations. If necessary, use professional equipment for underwater operations.Lubrication and maintenance are required during use for a period of time.

Installation and removal of broken hammer：

First, place the breaker in a flat and open place. The ground is dry and there should be no water vapor, sludge, dust, etc. to avoid polluting the hydraulic oil.If you work outdoors, use wooden blocks to isolate it from the ground.

Then turn off the engine. When the hydraulic oil cylinder is pressurized, the pressure should be released first, and then the shut-off valve at the end of the mechanical body should be rotated 90° to prevent the hydraulic oil from flowing out.

Then remove the hose connector on the construction machinery, recover the outflow of hydraulic oil, and put it back into the hydraulic tank.However, to avoid dust and sludge from entering the oil pressure pipeline, hose bolts and integrated covers should be used to close the hose and pipeline to maintain the cleanliness of the oil circuit system.And fix the high and low pressure hoses to avoid pollution.

If you want to disassemble the broken hammer, you must pull out the two pins connecting the broken and the boom. If you want to be idle for a long time, clean the outside, inject the parts of the broken hammer with lubricating oil, and then install the drill rod back.
